Happy Birthday, Grimsby – and what a milestone birthday it is.

Long praised for being the home of Ontario’s best peaches, plums and berries, this gorgeous little community just welcomed a new, even sweeter development.

In a deliberate nod to Grimsby’s 100th birthday, DeSantis Homes is adding to its own 60-year legacy with the launch of Century Condos. This new landmark serves as a birthday present to the historic town, combining innovation in design and development with bold interior features inspired by the past.

Designed in collaboration with town planning staff, prominent local heritage architects and other stakeholders, Century Condos is an homage to the past that looks towards the future.

The project is another collaboration between DeSantis Homes, KNYMH architects and Tomas Pearce Interior design. The first in DeSantis Homes’ new Prestige Series, Century Condos boasts high quality finishes. Every detail of the building was carefully selected to create an elegant, timeless feel.

On the exterior, transitional architecture blends modern and historic influences with the use of limestone, brick and wrought iron detailing. French Art Deco inspired interiors with soaring ceilings and oversized windows promise residents a light, airy and open living experience.

Kitchens feature gleaming quartz countertops, high-end cabinetry and six-piece upgraded stainless steel appliance packages. Ensuites include step-in showers with full, frameless glass enclosures. Walk-in closets provide ample space to store your stuff, and durable vinyl flooring throughout the units ensures a lasting foundation under your feet – so you can focus on making memories and enjoying your new home.

To support the surrounding natural environment, the building is equipped with integrated geothermal heating and cooling technology. This innovative system minimizes the building’s consumption of natural resources, reduces its overall carbon footprint and provides future residents with more certainty about their utility costs.

Century Condos promises to be a welcome addition to Grimsby as it goes through a remarkable renaissance of its own. This historic town’s downtown core is undergoing some major changes to create a more pedestrian-friendly culture. Outdoor seating, floral displays and art installations are set to adorn the charming little community in the near future.

Existing nearby grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, music venues and retail space provide all the opportunities residents will need for an enriched, vibrant lifestyle. Century Condos, situated on Main Street, will put residents at the center of it all.

Set in one of the most commuter-friendly areas of Ontario, anyone seeking big-city action need only hop onto the QEW, which connects the Niagara Region to nearby hotspots.

  • Downtown Hamilton: 15 minutes
  • Downtown Toronto: 1 hour
  • U.S. Border: 30 minutes

In addition to the convenience of the highway, future expansions in public transit promise to make Grimsby even more accessible for those looking to travel. While the Casablanca GO Bus station is mere minutes away, train service from the Confederation GO station is anticipated to begin next year.

Century Condos opened for private appointments on May 28th and sold 80% of available units within the first week. With limited one and two-bedroom plans still available, those interested are encouraged to contact the presentation centre to book an in-person or virtual appointment.
