The penthouse at Soho’s 27 Wooster has gone into contract.
The 6,700-square-foot five-bedroom duplex went on the market in the spring with an asking price of $28.5 million. Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the eight-story, 16-unit building by Stawski Group.
The penthouse interiors, designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen, feature 75 windows on the lower level and 13 all-glass sliding doors on the upper floor. The apartment also has four full bathrooms, two powder rooms, wide-plank solid oak floors, marble-clad fireplace, smart-home technology and a 3,100-square-foot blue stone paved wrap terrace with — wait for it — a full-size, 33-foot-long swimming pool.
The kitchen comes with Smallbone of Devizes cabinetry, marble countertops, Wolf cooking appliances including double ovens and a warming drawer, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Miele dishwasher. The master suite contains a master bath with marble slab floors and walls, bleached zebrawood cabinetry, Toto toilet and double rain-shower heads with a steam shower.
Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, cold storage, gym, bike room and storage and parking availability.
