According to the condo offering plan mentioned in the official website, the building was formerly known as 186 Putnam Avenue.
1188 Bedford is one of three contiguous buildings with the same architect popping up at the corner of Putnam and Bedford, Brownstoner reported. Brookland also owns 1192 Bedford, a five-story mixed-use building with six apartments. 1190 Bedford, owned by Moris Yeroshalmi of Rivka LLC in Great Neck, is yet another five-story building with six units. Suresh Manchanda of L&C Associates was the architect of record for the three structures.
