Airbnb has been getting a bad rap in the Big Apple. The sharing economy unicorn facing accusations that it manipulated data to conceal the fact that many users who rent their properties through the site are businesspeople with multiple properties listed, not mom and pop-types seeking extra income.
But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t tons of adorable Airbnb listings in NYC that will either make you want to visit — or at least upgrade your current apartment.

This single room listing is located in a three-story modern Brooklyn loft that features a few other Airbnb rentals. The aptly named “Wood Room” evokes a private mountain cabin nook. A spiral staircase leads to mid-century minimal design with modern appliances and iconic Bushwick views.

This private room in an UES townhouse features a marble fireplace, large windows, sofa, lofted bed and workspace — and the walls are painted with a cheerful and unique yellow sunrise treatment.

While this lofted room is petite, the price cannot be beat. Although it is a private room rather than a whole apartment, it is full of charm.
