The Millennium in Santa Monica is moving ever closer to its Summer 2020 completion date. The mixed-use development’s four distinct forms appear to be fully enclosed, although work continues on the ground floor commercial spaces. Much of the yellow siding has been applied, creating vivid contrast against the boxy, mostly-white façade.

Located at 2930 Colorado Avenue, the Dinerstein Companies-developed project will feature studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, plus multi-level townhomes. The Millennium is two blocks from the 26th St/Bergamot Metro rail station and the 17-acre Water Garden business complex, which houses several major media and technology companies.
Lessees are invited to choose from a wide range of floorplans that come in two designer color schemes. The interiors are bright and airy, featuring oversized windows, wood-plank flooring, white quartz countertops, GE Energy Star stainless steel appliances, a five-burner gas cooktop, tile kitchen backsplash, wood cabinets, and a large private balcony (as per plan).
The onsite amenities are catered towards wellness and relaxation. There’s a multi-level pool deck and a poolside aqua lounge, complete with an outdoor kitchen and TVs. Work up a sweat in the fully-equipped fitness center or perfect your bird of paradise pose on the yoga terrace.

The layered amenity decks provide ample open space — head up to the rooftop sky deck to take in sweeping city views or practice mindful meditation. The community’s numerous outdoor courtyards are perfect for entertaining friends and family, outfitted with barbecues, cozy fire pits and comfortable seating. Millennium will also offer 25,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, making it easy to pick up take-out for dinner or complete daily errands close to home.

Designed by Michael W. Folonis Architects, The Millennium is being built to meet LEED Platinum standards, the highest rating level issued by the US Green Building Council. Construction is scheduled to wrap up within the next couple of months and the first residents will begin moving in this summer.
