A new 11-story residential building has been proposed for 153 Fourth Avenue at the Gowanus-Park Slope border.
Located between Degraw and Douglass streets, the 18-unit development will be designed by S3 Architecture, according to the plan exam application filed November 26th. The 17,367-square-foot project will have a rooftop deck, private storage and bicycle storage, as well as 1,953 square feet of community facility space on the ground floor.
The developer is Degraw Street Realty Corp, which acquired the property in 2008 for $1.03 million, according to public records.
The site is currently home to a three-story building that houses a doctor’s office. No demolition permits have been filed yet.
