The Durst Organization’s funky-fresh pyramid at 625 West 57th Street is scheduled for completion in January 2016.
We spotted a retail listing for the Bjarke Ingels-designed rental, which will have over 700 apartments. The retail space will include ceilings up to 27 feet tall, and approximately 10,000 residential units are within 10 blocks of the site.
The first commercial unit, on the corner of West 57th Street and Twelfth Avenue, measures 27,000 square feet. The second through ninth retail units range in size from 875 square feet to 4,500 square feet.
The building is next to Durst’s 597-unit rental The Helena at 601 West 57th Street.
