Permits have dropped for HAP Investment Developers’ 4452 Broadway in Hudson Heights.
The eight-story, 98-unit building will rise 80 feet, according to the plan exam application filed December 10th. Karl Fischer is the architect of record for the mixed-use, 109,200-square-foot project.
Located on the corner of Broadway and Fairview Avenue, the development will include parking, bike storage, a roof deck and 8,145 square feet of commercial space. Quadriad Realty originally wanted to build two 25- to 28-story towers on the same site, but HAP thwarted those plans when they purchased part of the land, DNAinfo reported.
HAP CEO Eran Polack told DNAinfo in September that the firm did not plan on working with Quadriad.
“We have no relationship to Quadriad and will not pursue a rezoning of our site,” Polack said. “Our intention is to develop the site at 4452 Broadway ‘as of right’ and in accordance with current zoning.”
