A big mixed-use project is burrowing into 200 East 39th Street in Murray Hill, as we reported back in March 2013.
SK Development, CB Developers and Ironstate Development are partnering to build the 19-story, 91-unit rental on the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue. The 213-foot-tall building will have market-rate and affordable housing, along with commercial space, according to the site for CB Developers.
Rawlings Architects will design the project. The building will rise on two lots along East 39th; the first lot was home to the former Frontier Diner and the second was occupied by a brownstone building.
Construction is expected to wrap up in early 2015, according to the SK Development site.
