Annabelle Selldorf’s 10 Bond Street is cast-ironically* on the market.
The boutique building by SK Development, Ironstate Development, The Chetrit Group and Ed Scheetz has 11 residences — a townhouse, a penthouse and nine two- to three-bedroom units. The available residences (four, as of this afternoon) are priced from $5.1 million for a 1,866-square-foot two-bedroom. The other listings include a $5.3 million two-bedroom, a $6.9 million three-bedroom and a $7.75 million three-bedroom.
The building’s weathered steel and cast terra cotta panels evoke Bond Street’s cast-iron feel, with 8’4″ casement windows with electronically controlled exterior shade. Selldorf Architects also designed the interiors, which feature direct elevator entry, 10’10” ceilings, 5″ wide solid Douglas Fir floors, solid mahogany window sills, automated lighting and window shade control by Lutron, four-pipe heating and air conditioning systems and fully vented washer/dryer.
The kitchen has lacquered Italian millwork, marble slab countertops, hand-made Dutch tile backsplash, pantry storage and appliances by Sub-Zero, Miele, Wolf and Gaggenau. The windowed master bath is decked out with marble slabs, custom mahogany vanity millwork, heated floors, “floating tub” and glass-enclosed shower.
