A pair of four-story, eight-unit apartment buildings have been proposed for 292-294 Quincy Street in Bed-Stuy.
Located between Marcy and Nostrand avenues, the planned developments would rise 50 feet tall, each measuring 5,970 square feet. 292 Quincy and 294 Quincy would both have penthouse duplexes, according to permits filed June 14.
The site, which appears to be vacant, is a block away from 246 Quincy, a three-unit project by Urban View that started sales in late January, Brownstoner reported. Pricing ranged from $850,000 to $895,000 (Urban View’s The Verve Condominium at 170 Putnam, also in the neighborhood, kicked off sales earlier this week).
292-294 Quincy is also two blocks from 322 Gates Avenue, a development site currently on the market for $4.5 million. The 7,500-square-lot on the corner of Bedford Avenue is occupied by a one-story warehouse and comes with about 22,500 buildable square feet. The Corcoran listing describes the property as a “perfect opportunity to develop a condominium or rental units in a fast-growing, high-demand neighborhood.”
