Lower East Side condo project 179 Ludlow has landed on the market.
The six-unit, eight-story development by Enclave Equities has full-floor, two-bedroom residences and a duplex penthouse. The condos measure 1,069 square feet to 1,269 square feet; pricing ranges from $1.65 million for a third-floor unit with 79 square feet of exterior space to $2.4 million for the penthouse, which has 489 square feet of exterior space.
The facade by Kleinmann Architects features mullioned glass and an “architectural” fire escape, as a reference to the street’s history.
Crafted by ASH NYC, interiors have direct elevator entry, six-foot sliding glass doors, floor-to-ceiling windows, steel-railed balconies and open kitchen, living and dining rooms. The apartments include Viking appliances, white oak plank flooring, two-zone air conditioning, in-unit washer/dryer and master bath with steam shower.
Each unit above the second floor has two private outdoor spaces and three exposures for more air and light. Residents can give guests access to the building and control the elevator through a remote iPad intercom and security system. Each buyer gets private storage room in the basement.
Douglas Elliman is marketing the building.
