The 182-186 Spring Street site has a colorful history full of legal tanglings and wranglings, but the Soho site is now on the market and listed as a building opportunity.
The site is available for $38 million, more than twice the price that it was previously purchased for. Dolly Lenz, Brett Forman and Adam Vanderbrook are the listing agents.
Back in May, The Real Deal reported that developer Stephane Boivin was facing a $5.6 million foreclosure suit brought against him by Silo Capital, who claimed he demolished the property without permission.
Boivin had acquired 182 Spring Street in April 2011 for $10.1 million and a year later purchased 186 Spring Street from the Beastie Boys’ Adam Horovitz for $5.5 million.
