The Naftali Group’s 20-story condo tower at 234 East 23rd Street is rolling along.
Located between Second and Third avenues, the project designed by Goldstein, Hill and West will have 57 units, according to the plan exam application filed October 23rd. In addition to nearly 5,000 square feet of commercial space, the building will have bike parking and both private and public terraces on the roof.
The developer paid about $23.13 million for the site, the New York Post reported. The deal consisted of two adjoining four-story tenement buildings on a 86,000-square-foot lot at 234-238 East 23rd Street. The development will offer one- to three-bedrooms and will break ground this year, according to the Post.
A demolition permit for the existing brick building at 234 East 23rd was filed July 18th.
Stribling & Associates will handle sales and marketing, The Real Deal reported.
