Soho’s 27 Wooster Street has released its full site of wonders.
Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the building on the corner of Grand and Wooster streets. The developers are Axel Stawski and Anthony Leichter.
Every unit features floor-to-ceiling windows that extend fully to the outside. Interiors, designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen, have direct key-locked elevator access, wide plank white oak floors and Smallbone kitchens with marble countertops, marble islands, Sub-Zero refrigerators and Miele dishwashers. Only spacious units need apply, please; the standard condo is a 2,500-square-foot three-bedroom, and “no smaller units are offered,” the site gleefully informs us. Select residences have kitchen balconies for even more light.
The 6,700-square-foot penthouse duplex takes center stage, with approximately 75 windows on the lower level, 13 all-glass sliding doors on the upper level and a private 33′ by 12’6″ swimming pool. The formidable five-bedroom spread includes a marble-clad functional fireplace, a 3,140-square-foot terrace paved in Pennsylvania Bluestone and a master bathroom with marble-slab floors, bleached zebrawood cabinetry and double rainshower heads.
