Williamsburg-based developer EcoRise is staying in the neighborhood with its latest project at 305 Union Avenue.
The seven-story, 18-unit development, located between South 1st and South 2nd streets, will be designed by Garrison Architects, according to the plan exam application filed December 10th. The 22,496-square-foot building will include parking for 10 cars, storage, bike storage and a rooftop recreation area.
The site is currently home to a two-story building erected in the early 1900s. EcoRise acquired the property in August for $1.25 million, according to public records.
The developer’s previous projects include seven-unit 550 Grand Street and seven-unit 161 Roebling Street, according to the company’s site. As befits the name “EcoRise,” the firm “utiliz[es] the latest technology and design to obtain significant air and light, blurring of indoor/outdoor space and use of greenery as well as adaptive reuse of materials, selection of low-impact and non-toxic finishes and energy efficiency.”
