Boutique Upper East Side project 33 East 74th Street has let fly the first units from its 10-condo quiver, The Real Deal reported.
The conversion of six historic rowhouses was designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, with interiors from Champalimaud. Developer Daniel Straus bought the landmarked property from the Whitney Museum in 2010 for $95 million.
The two units on the market are a 3,889-square-foot three-bedroom asking $14.75 million and a 6,312-square-foot, five-bedroom penthouse asking $32 million.
The three- to five-bedroom condominiums will have 10-foot ceilings, an entrance gallery over 20 feet long and an en-suite bath for every bedroom, according to The New York Times. Of the six original rowhouses, the Atterbury mansion, a four-story home facing 74th Street, will keep its floors, second-floor arched windows and 13-foot ceilings.
Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, gym and private storage. Douglas Elliman is marketing the project.
