The existing five-level landmarked building, redesigned by Joseph Pell Lombardi, is getting a sixth-floor addition.
The residences will have keyed elevator access, 11-foot-high ceilings, in-unit washer/dryer, Caesar Stone countertop kitchens with Thermadore appliances and 22-bottle wine coolers, walk-in closets, master bathrooms with Kohler bathtubs, Italian tile and double sinks and second bathrooms fitted with steam showers, according to the official site. The living rooms boast French doors with balconies and LED mood dimmable ceiling light.
Amenities include a virtual doorman and private storage. The 3,602-square-foot duplex penthouse will have three bedrooms, ceilings up to 16 feet, a powder room and two terraces, according to floor plans on the official site. Residences on the second to fourth floors will be two-bedroom units measuring 2,165 square feet each.
The most recent permit filed for the project was March 21st. The site, formerly a factory and garage, sold in April 2012 for $7.5 million, The Real Deal reported. Here’s a rendering of the building from Joseph Pell Lombardi’s site:
