I have this problem where every time Black Friday rolls around, I only want to spend money on myself. I recently saw a wholly relatable meme that said, “You can be your own Secret Santa with wine and Amazon Prime,” and now it’s my shopping mantra for the holiday season. Jokes aside, taking advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals can result in significant savings, especially on big-ticket items like TVs and sofas. Here I’ve rounded up five home decor sales I’ll be shopping and the products I’ve already added to my online shopping cart.
1. Food52

There’s no better place to shop for kitchenware than Food52 if you’re a design addict and avid home cook like myself. They’ve been promoting some one-day-only deals throughout the week, but the real savings begin on Friday, November 29th and continue through Sunday, December 1st.
Use the code BIGSCOOP to receive 20 percent off orders over $100. And when Cyber Monday rolls around (RIP my productivity), you can score 20 percent off the entire site using the code STAYALLDAY. I’ve got my eye on this limited edition, three-piece set of Dansk Kobenstyle cookware (a casserole dish, saucepan and butter warmer) in pretty pastel hues, originally $260 and soon to be $208.
2. Article

Article is not messing around with the savings this year. No ma’am! Their annual Black Friday sale began on November 18th and ends Monday, December 2nd at 12am PT. They’ve got a wide array of furniture, lighting and decor on sale, with up to 45 percent off over 150 items. Plus, all orders over $499 receive free basic shipping until the sale ends. I’d snatch up a pair of these sunflower-yellow Colibri dining chairs, formerly $79 a pop, now $59.
3. Urban Outfitters

Honestly, Urban Outfitters ropes me in with their home sales about once a week. Do I need a shower wine glass holder? No. Am I considering it? Of course. Shoppers have been enjoying sales of up to 40 percent off all month long, but the biggest savings will be found on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
They’ve yet to reveal specific details, but last year they touted BOGO deals and significant savings on purchases of $50 or more. If you can’t wait until Friday, sign up to be a UO Rewards member (it’s free!) and take 20 percent off your entire purchase from now until November 27th. I’ll be watching the price on this well-reviewed folding metal bookshelf, which is already on sale for $179, marked down from $229.
4. West Elm

I scored an unreal deal on this 26-piece flatware set for $26 (!!!!) last week at West Elm. I had to pick it up in store and use the code SWEET at checkout to access this super low price, but it was well worth the effort. Originally priced at $98, the set is stainless steel, the stems are super modern and each piece has a balanced weight.
Not in the market for flatware? That’s okay because literally everything is on sale until December 1st! Shop with the code SAVEMORE to get free shipping and unlock their ‘buy more, save more’ deals like 15 percent off purchases of $150 or more and 25 percent off purchases of $1,000 or more. West Elm is also offering up to 50 percent off Black Friday bonus deals, some of which you can preview online now.
5. Etsy

Etsy is my go-to source for thoughtful, handmade holiday gifts. This year, Etsy was like, “Cyber Monday, who?” and decided to celebrate with Cyber Week from November 27th until December 2nd. Plus, if you download the Etsy app, you can access the sale preview on November 26th and the sale extension on December 3rd.
Hit up etsy.com/cyber for up to 60 percent off home and holiday decor, clothing, gifts, accessories and more. This custom home portrait, which currently starts at $145+, will be included in the Cyber Week sale and would be a truly fantastic gift for someone who recently purchased their first home.
