We’ve seen a lot of awesome kitchens in our time, and it got us wondering about some of the crazier designs out there.
So we did some searching and compiled a list of our favourite wacky kitchens!
Even while munching on cereal in our bunny slippers, it would be hard not to feel like royalty in this kitchen. The leopard print cloth is simply a bonus.
Designed for a film set, the obtuse angles, dark lighting, and crazy colours give this kitchen a distinctly “Tim Burton-esque” feel. Super cool! But, we have to say we’re a little worried about putting oranges on the slanted kitchen counter.
Perfect for people who dream of sipping coffee in Paris! This Parisian-inspired kitchen might not be a sidewalk cafe, but it’s definitely the next best thing.
At first, we weren’t sure the bright purple colour scheme was enough to put this kitchen on our list. Then, we saw the bonsai tree under the counter. Because, really, who doesn’t want a kitchen with a custom built nook for a bonsai tree?
Stainless steel appliances are always a coveted feature, but it was the bright blue under-lighting that really sold us on this unique kitchen. We really hope there’s astronaut ice cream in that fridge.
Inspired by the Cubism Art Movement, this kitchen won Kitchen’s for Living’s Crazy Kitchen Award. Their criteria included: “impracticality, power to confuse and disorient and of course creativity.” We think this kitchen earned its title.
