With his Architecture Animée series, artist and architecture graduate Axel de Stampa has brought nine static buildings to life by immortalizing them in captivating GIF-form.
The subjects are all famous contemporary buildings from around the world, including:
Absolute Towers – Mississauga, Ontario
Theatre Agora – Lelystad, The Netherlands
America’s Cup Building – Valencia, Spain
Mirador Building – Madrid, Spain
Zollverein School – Essen, Germany
All nine animations can be seen here. Architecture Animée is part of a larger project called 1 Week 1 Project where de Stampa and a former classmate attempt to create one new architectural project per week.
