The Whitman, a stately 4-unit New Georgian-style condo on Madison Square Park, just got some presidential cred.
Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, dropped $10.5 million for a four-bedroom apartment at the 21 E. 26th Street pre-war conversion.
The couple recently toured the under-construction six-story building with Clinton’s parents, former President Bill Clinton and ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, The New York Daily News reported.
The full-floor, second-level unit measures 4,967 square feet and showcases wide-plank oak floors, Italian marble slab bathrooms, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances and a Crestron smart home system. Amenities include a full-time doorman, private storage, refrigerated package room and a gym.
Clinton and Mezvinsky chose the apartment for the quiet location and airtight security, a source told The New York Daily News. The deal is set to close in June.
Below is a floor plan for the unit.
