Is “Anyone” in the market for a four-bedroom, seven-bathroom private estate in LA’s Laurel Canyon? “Sorry Not Sorry” for making such terrible puns, but the 5,564-square-foot home of singer Demi Lovato was relisted for sale this week to the tune of $8.95 million.

Perched above the historic Chateau Marmont, 8080 Laurel View Drive is a boxy, modernist creation with a white stucco and black corrugated facade. The open-concept interiors are awash in natural light and Fleetwood pocket doors deliver a true indoor/outdoor living experience.

The double-height formal living room features sweeping city views and a low-profile gas fireplace with a striking black surround. An oversized, marble-topped island takes center stage in the chef’s kitchen, complemented by a sheet metal backsplash, trio of pendant lights and gooseneck faucet.

This kitchen opens up to the backyard, which boasts an angular zero-edge pool, spa, barbecue bar area, fire feature, and an illuminated trail that leads to the covered gazebo rotunda. There’s another yard with artificial grass off the wrap-around patio, perfect for Lovato’s Yorkie/Poodle mixes. Is anyone else getting serious Parasite vibes from that tent, though?

The relaxing master suite features its own sitting room, dual walk-in closets and a large soaking tub. There’s also an upper club level complete with a bar, media room and a spacious sky lounge terrace where you can take in the twinkling city lights.

Months after Lovato purchased the home for $8.3 million in 2016, a landslide caused the property to be red-tagged as unsafe for entry. Although she wasn’t living in the home at the time, it took several weeks to clean up the mud and debris that was left in its wake.

8080 Laurel View Drive is listed with James Harris and David Parnes of The Agency (who you may recognize from Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles). It was previously put up for sale in 2018 for a steep $9.5 million. Without any offers, the listing price was reduced to $8.95 million, then touted as a $40,000 per month rental, before being taken down completely.
Here’s hoping the third time’s the charm for this celebrity-approved Laurel Canyon property.
