On the appeal of Cressey‘s new King Crossing development, we’ll start with its convenient neighbourhood. Situated at the intersection of Kingsway and Edmonds Street in South Burnaby, residents will be within easy walking distance of the Edmonds SkyTrain station, the new open-air shopping hub at Highgate Village, the Edmonds Community Centre (which has a pool) and the Burnaby Public Library’s Tommy Douglas Branch. There are also a ton of nearby shops, services, schools and parks.
As for the development itself, King Crossing will be comprised of three residential towers ranging from 26 to 36 storeys, as well as a six-storey office building.
The community’s over 800 homes will be of concrete construction and include one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 540 to 1,200 square feet. Each home will feature the famous Cressey Kitchen, as well as private outdoor spaces with impressive views of the city, mountains and/or water, depending on the orientation.
For shared building amenities, King Crossing will boast a car-sharing program, bike storage, fitness centre, lounge and podium rooftop terrace. There will also be fresh fruit stands and desirable shops right at street level.
The King Crossing sales program is anticipated to start later this year. To be among the first to hear about that date and receive all the latest information on pricing, floorplans and home features, be sure to register for the project here.
