The limestone and glass facade at BKSK Architects’ One Vandam in Soho is climbing strong.
The 14-story project by Quinlan Development Group and Tavros Development Partners is located at 180 Sixth Avenue. The 25 one- to five-bedroom units, which hit the market in October 2013, range in size from less than 1,000 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet. Many units have private exterior space and multiple exposures. Pricing for available units starts at $6.2 million for a 2,221-square-foot three-bedroom.
Studio DB designed the interiors. Residences have open-plan kitchens with solid walnut cabinets, custom-polished steel doors and bathrooms with custom wood vanities, heath ceramic tiles and floor-to-ceiling windows. The building’s three penthouses each enjoy outdoor terrace space and wood-burning fireplaces.
Two of the crowning residences are on the market. Penthouse A, a 5,286-square-foot four-bedroom triplex, is asking $28 million. Penthouse B, a 3,400-square-foot four-bedroom duplex, is asking $15 million.
