May 2-4 weekend (or May Long, if you’re in the west) is upon us, and keeping with tradition many Ontarians head up North to open their cottages for the season and enjoy the great outdoors.
While cottage-goers are busy having their boats delivered and making sure their docks are steady, there’s one underrated structure that many people don’t pay enough attention to — the boathouse.
Some people have standard boathouses to park and keep their water vehicles safe, while others take their boat’s home very seriously.
We thought it would be a blast to showcase some epic boathouses in Ontario.
Enjoy the pics and the long weekend!
