Located in Downtown Los Angeles’ ever-changing South Park district, 825 South Hill is a 53-story tower of luxury rental residences by Onni Group of Companies. The building is fully complete and now leasing, with one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den, two-bedroom, two-bedroom plus den, three-bedroom and three-bedroom-plus-family suites available from $2,680 per month. Livabl was recently invited to tour the sprawling amenity spaces at 825 South Hill and we documented our visit with photos.

Stepping into the leather- and velvet-adorned lobby of 825 South Hill, your eye is immediately drawn to a wall of framed, black and white photographs. The space is sophisticated and design-forward with a large natural stone slab that serves as the concierge desk. Here, residents kick back on the tufted sofas to wait for an Uber or respond to an email before heading out the door.

With 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, there’s much to explore at 825 South Hill. Riding the elevator up to the sixth floor, you’ll discover a sprawling wellness center, equipped with stationary bikes, cardio machines, weight training equipment and a separate studio for yoga or private sessions with a trainer. There’s even a steam room and sauna where residents can soothe tired muscles at the end of their workout.

Down the hall is the theater room, complete with reclining leather lounge chairs, accent tables, and a wet bar for mixing drinks before the start of the show. The nearby games room features billiards, shuffleboard and poker tables, all under the glow of a neon sign. The adjacent board room is equipped with accordion doors that can be kept open or closed depending on the nature of the meeting.

The study area was buzzing with activity during our visit to 825 South Hill, as residents worked from their laptops or fielded video calls using Smart TVs. This co-working space flows into the living room area, which boasts plush, modern furniture grouped into conversation areas. There’s also a chef’s entertainment kitchen where one resident was whipping up a roast chicken for a party that was taking place later in the evening.

As if all the interior amenities weren’t enough, the outdoor terrace boasts a sports lounge with ping pong tables and spots for playing cards or board games. The zen garden is popular with the resident yogis who often practice their pigeon poses out here.

The outdoor lounge, barbecue and dining areas are truly breathtaking, anchored by a ceramic tile-clad gas fireplace. Here, residents can cozy up by the fire, dine alfresco or grill a summer feast while taking in gorgeous views of the downtown skyline.

The rooftop swimming pool is 825 South Hill’s pièce de résistance, surrounded by comfy day beds, loungers and side tables for keeping your sunscreen and margarita handy. Swim laps in the pool or simply dip your feet in the bubbling hot tub.
