Thomasfield Homes has officially launched sales at its highly-anticipated Hopewell Crossing development in Breslau, Ontario. The master-planned community is one of the area’s largest mixed-use developments and is centrally located, offering easy access to Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. A collection of beautifully designed townhomes and single-family homes are available to choose from and prospective homebuyers can visit the sales centre located across from Grobe’s Nursery at 1787 Greenhouse Road, Breslau to tour three newly opened model homes. While browsing the models, homebuyers can be reassured that all the features and finishes are included with no hidden costs or upgrades as all Thomasfield model homes are built to standard specifications.
Priced from $449,900, the homes at Hopewell Crossing feature a mix of singles and townhomes to suit all types of homebuyers. The first phase will consist of townhomes and singles on 36- to 45- foot lots, with some premium lots backing onto stormwater management and wetland areas. The homes on display include three single-family homes ranging in size from 1,870 square feet to 2,386 square feet.
All homes include a long list of standard features and finishes including hardwood floors in great rooms, Paragon kitchen cabinets and nine-foot ceilings on the main floor. Exteriors boast charming facades in neutral colour palettes, highlighted by clay brick and vinyl siding, large windows, and welcoming entryways with covered porches (as per plan).
The first home is the three-bedroom Thomson, a 36-foot model with 1,870 square feet of living space. The Thomson features a bright, open-concept layout with a two-storey foyer and contemporary furnishings with fun pops of colour and accessories to appeal to younger buyers.
Modern white furniture contrasts nicely with the soft blue-green tones in the great room, while a wall of windows provides plenty of natural light that filters into the adjacent dinette and kitchen area.
A large central island features seating for four and is lit with a pair of stainless steel pendants. Home cooks will love all the counter space for prep work along with the plethora of storage options, like two walls of cabinets and an expansive walk-in pantry.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is situated at the front of the home, where a large picture window makes the most of the 10-foot ceilings. The master also includes his-and-hers walk-in closets and a four-piece ensuite with a large central skylight. The main bathroom also utilizes a skylight for natural lighting and energy savings.
The Brunswick model home is also part of the 36-foot series but offers a little more space at 1,967 square feet. A short hallway from the foyer leads into an impressive, two-storey great room that’s over 20 feet long.
The stunning living space is flanked by windows and a gas fireplace on one side and a grand, open staircase on the other. Blue leather couches, floral accessories and vibrant, abstract artwork add even more splashes of colour to the otherwise neutral palette.
Opposite the great room is a dinette or breakfast area and an L-shaped kitchen with an island in a contrasting dark wood finish.
Ascend the U-shaped staircase to the second floor and you’ll find a corner main bath with a walk-in linen closet, two well-sized secondary bedrooms and a spacious master bedroom.
Homeowners who choose the Brunswick will benefit from the master bedroom’s walk-in closet with ample storage and luxurious ensuite, featuring dual vanities and a curbless shower with a rainfall showerhead and cutout for a plant ledge.
The largest of the three model homes is the 2,386-square-foot Carmichael. A 40-foot series model, the Carmichael boasts a wide, open-concept layout with bright living spaces that flow seamlessly into the next. From the covered porch, guests are welcomed into the ceramic-tiled foyer with a powder room, entry closet and carpeted staircase accented with wrought-iron spindles.
The main living area consists of an enormous 29-by-18-foot great room, which can easily be used as both a living room and dining room. Half of the great room features a sloped ceiling that opens to the second floor, and there’s a cozy gas fireplace surrounded by windows.
Medium brown hardwood floors transition into a dark grey-tiled kitchen and dinette area. The dark floors and lower cabinets combined with black cabinet pulls, light fixtures and grey island stools give the space an industrial aesthetic, well balanced with clean white upper cabinets and a stainless steel chimney range hood.
On the second level, the master retreat occupies the front of the home, and comes complete with two walk-in closets, a sitting or exercise room, and a luxurious ensuite with dual vanities and a curbless shower with a rainshower head. Two more bedrooms, a full bathroom with a skylight, and a small balcony overlooking the great room round out the upstairs area.
Situated at Victoria Street North (Highway 7) and Greenhouse Road in Breslau, Hopewell Crossing is centrally located between Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. Even more amenities are just minutes away, whether you travel east towards Guelph — home to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (a National Historic Site of Canada) — or Kitchener to the west, where the Grand River offers picturesque walking trails and connections to nature as it winds through Southwestern Ontario.
