Rendering: Meshberg Group
We’re down with the Meshberg Group — they send us Christmas cards! — so we were surprised that we missed this new rendering for a Brooklyn project, which the firm tweeted last month.
We reached out to Adam Meshberg, who said that the brick development is in Williamsburg. Going deeper, we’ve deduced that this is 291 Metropolitan Avenue, a new five-story, 27-unit building on the site of a former parking garage. Just look at the sketch for 291 Metropolitan on Meshberg Group’s site:
Also known as 206 North 4th Street, the project will have 19,196 square feet of residential space, with just 95 square feet of retail in the cellar. There will be parking, bicycle storage and a roof deck. The developer is All Year Management. The project plans were first filed in October 2012.
Demolition permits were filed in June 2013 for the one-story garage at the address. Later that summer, a construction fence went up at the site, Brownstoner reported.
