Located in Toronto’s sought-after St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood, 75 on The Esplanade is a new high-rise condominium now under construction at the site of a former parking lot adjacent to the Novotel Hotel. The development by Carttera Private Equities and Harhay Developments was launched in 2017, followed by the start of construction in August 2018 when drilling rigs were on site to prepare for shoring.
The three-storey underground garage was fully excavated by the end of 2018, and in January 2019, a construction crane was installed. Since the building reached grade-level in early 2020, construction has continued to progress quickly, despite COVID-19 restrictions, and the tower is now over 20 storeys high. Recent photos also show the first signs of exterior cladding with a few windows installed on the podium’s northeast corner.
When complete, 75 on The Esplanade will feature a 29-storey architectsAlliance-designed tower dotted with articulated glass balconies. The building is anchored to the southwest corner of Church Street and The Esplanade by a seven-storey podium clad in a contrasting red brick veneer, and will house both residential and commercial units.
A total of 308 units are available for sale, consisting of a mix of one- to three-bedroom layouts with interior finishes curated by II BY IV DESIGN. Standard features and finishes include nine-foot ceilings, stone countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Onsite amenities offer a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, from an elegantly-appointed dining room and kitchen to a landscaped outdoor pool and deck complete with barbecue stations and lounge areas.
