It’s only fitting that the construction site of 3434 Wesley Street, one of Culver City’s coolest mixed-use projects, is covered in colorful graffiti. The transit-oriented development by Pine, LLC will consist of a singular building, divided into three forms that are linked together by generous swaths of outdoor space.
Designed by Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects, the ground level will include an art gallery and café, while creative offices will take over the second level. A total of 15 apartments will occupy the upper levels, topping off at five stories.

Expect a mix of studios and one-bedroom apartments with private outdoor spaces, two-story townhouses with two bedrooms, a balcony and private roof deck, as well as loft units featuring a mezzanine and balcony. One unit will be reserved for a very low income tenant.
Site preparation began about a year ago and the excavation work is now complete. The concrete foundation, which will eventually house two levels of underground parking, has been poured and the retaining walls are firmly in place, reinforced by steel bars.

3434 Wesley Street is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, set back from the bustle of Washington Boulevard. But don’t be fooled, this prime address puts you within a few minutes’ walk of PLATFORM, a trendy indoor/outdoor shopping center, and Helms Bakery District, a mélange of furniture showrooms and restaurants. The Expo Line’s Culver City station is across the street, providing easy access between Santa Monica and Downtown Los Angeles.
Neighboring the development is The Wesley, another mixed-use project that will deliver 234 apartments, 45,000 square feet of ground level commercial space, underground parking, and 30,000 square feet of public open space. The 3.6-acre property is bordered by Wesley Street to the east, Helms Avenue to the west and Washington Street to the north.
