Positives: Beautiful homes, great builder, gorgeous layout! Al site supervisor and his workers are wonderful to work with.
Show moreNegatives: Beware of negative neighbors! Nothing to do but complain about everything. Show less
Positives: Show moreNegatives: Terrible to deal with and such terrible workmanship if one could call it workmanshipComments: Possibly the worst workmanship that one could experience. Plumbing, trim, ceramic etc. Doors that have to be forced open. Drywall is pathetic. The list of unfinished work. forget their so called repairs as if you cannot do yourself then hire a competent trade. Show less
Positives: Show moreNegatives: Builder is forcing home owners to close on incomplete housesComments: I just closed a home in the Harbor point development. Home was rushed in order to make closing date. Drywall work and interior finishes are TERRIBLE as a result.
Exterior finishes as of now are none existent, no garage doors, no soffit, no fascia, no eaves trough. Customer service is atrocious.....they refer every concern to a clause that excludes them from everything in the multi page document you sign on purchase. If you order upgrades/options and for what ever reason they don't get installed.....Builders solution is to give your $ back and wash their hands of it.
You are also forced into a multi year rental contract for your water heater....otherwise you have to pay the builder a fee of $5000.00 to install your own water heater. That is plain old robbery!!
My recommendation is to avoid this builder altogether. However if you insist on purchasing a home from them.....read every word, every clause and sub clause of the agreement you sign, no matter how fine the print.Show less
Positives: Amenities are ok
Show moreNegatives: Very Bad customer services Comments: I blame myself!! should have researched this company thoroughly!! A friend of mine was buying in the development and I followed suit! From missing upgrades to extremely poor workmanship and customer service!!! issues too numerous to mention! Every day is another day for fixing essential things like security!! The door refuses to engage this was pointed out three weeks ago... promises promises promises! who's up for creating a blog on this builder. I am compling photos to share on the finished product of an over $570K of this builder!

Upgraded carpet that has pulled up and ripped that will not be addressed by Batavia Homes when we bring it up to them, basement stairs are lose and extremely un-level, a concrete block in the basement that is 3.5ft tall a foot wide and 3 ft long that sticks out into the middle of a tiny basement(the excuse for this was " this is how we pour our foundations, there is no structural support in this block"), black fence was put up infront of our hShow less
Positives: Decent after sales service
Show moreNegatives: Horrible builder to deal with.Comments: You may want to rethink if you're looking into Batavia homes...
I took possession of the house April 2018 with many things left unfinished (typical for new build). My issue is not with the kitchen tile incomplete or the hardwood flooring incomplete or even a $5500 upgrade which was completely missed. My issue is the constant fight I have to put up to get it fixed properly.
The Shower ...oh the Shower ! The missing $3500 upgrade, which would cost maybe $1500 if I had someone outside of the builder do it, was a complete nightmare. Our shower has a major leak and mould has been found , this is the second time we've had a problem with the shower. Currently waiting for shower to be ripped out . Hopefully the job will be done properly this time by someone who is competent . Legal action may be required
