Positives: Amazing Amenities, Great Location (near Eatons/Yonge Dundas Square), and pretty decent build quality Show more Negatives: No utilities included in Condo fees, and main concierge is on the 5th floor Comments: I just bought a unit in this building, and have to say I'm quite happy. I read the other reviews, which seem to be from new owners when the building first started closings. All of the negative reviews refer to issues that are common in almost any 'pre-construction' project. Issues with deficiencies at closing - this is covered by the Tarion warranty, again quite common with most pre-construction projects Issues with 'closing costs' - the buyers likely did not get a lawyer review done, and so that would be their negligence. Again doesn't apply to the building itself, just their overall experience with pre-construction The only real issue I have with this are that condo fees are a bit higher than average and the concierge is on the 5th floor! Overall, love the building and location. Great spot for any prospective buyer! Show less

Positives: read review Show more Negatives: read review Comments: Front desk concierge employees are not professional whatsoever. They cannot organize or label according packages correctly. I had 3 computers arrive ($2000) each with according accessories, and the front desk was somehow unable to locate them, though they'd been delivered 14 days ago, and I called every day to ask where the packages are. Furthermore, they seem not to care about the needs of the residents. They lack proper knowledge and training. They're a class act of Toronto stereotypes that you'd see posted on Instagram for a meme. I'm in dispute with supplier who confirmed and took pictures of the delivery of the computers, at the front desk and these absolute morons of employees somehow do not have it. I wouldn't doubt they might have done something sketchy with them. Also, 2 of my cabinet doors fell off and have yet to be repaired. This building sucks. Don't buy here. Dundas/Jarvis intersection you'll be approached by drug addicts pestering you for money aggressively. Show less

Positives: Show more Negatives: Shameless, unprofessional, greedy Comments: My unit is riddled with deficiencies, my balcony door can't close properly, all my door handles are crooked. Within a month a cabinet door fell apart, a drawer broke as the railing was too long and bent out of shape. The service elevator was out of service from May to November 2020 due to water damage, a time the majority of the residents were moving in. Garbage smell from the shute gets everywhere and into my unit. Charges came out of my account as "Misc" and given wrong info by property management. I was sent on a wild goose chase to find out what it was. Customer care is hard to reach, unprofessional, and dismissive. Concierge is constantly undermanned, undertrained, and overwhelmed. Upon final closing, my maintenance fees jumped 50% from original estimates. The address is changed to 251 Jarvis, as opposed to the advertised 200 Dundas E. Steer away from Gupta and its subsidiaries, they don't deserve to be in business. Show less

Positives: Show more Negatives: This building & developer are shoddy & negligent Comments: The build of this condo is horrendous, from start to finish. The craftsmanship is so shoddy, people's locks are literally breaking off their doors and it has not even been half a year. Cabinets installed crooked, bathrooms have been flooding, building management and security is beyond negligent, a resident was left with a bathroom full of feces and urine due to flooding for over 4 days. Outrageous maintenance fees, twice the average of much better quality condos in the downtown core, with subpar service, and they have the audacity to tack on over $10k in additional closing fees after utilizing the cheapest possible quality of materials & trying to pass on financial responsibilities to the buyers. 100s of tenants have vowed to never support/purchase any Gupta ventures in the future. It's shameful, this builder is fuelled by greed, and obviously do not care about the fact that there are real humans living in their buildings who suffer real consequences from their negligence.
